No, I am gay but I don't think you could take her crown just because of what she thinks. I may not agree with what she said but no one has the right to get mad at someones opinion. I think Perez Hilton was really immature to leave a message like that. If he didn't agree with her that's Ok but he didn't have to call her a B****.
No I think she lost because that dirtbag Perez Hilton sabotaged her. She scored highest of all the contestants until he gave her a zero for her answer. If a person cannot keep their personal politics out of the mix they have no right to be a judge in ANY contest.

No, I think she lost because she showed that even though it was an old personal view she had a streak of ignorance which cluttered up the image of the MC within.

I think so. That was such a negative thing to say! As Miss USA you're supposed to represent America. Personally I wouldn't want someone that negative representing this country. That's just not the ideal attitude of someone who would win the contest. It's a leadership role and in a leadership role many times you have to go against your beliefs in order to represent all people. You have to lead by example. I just can't see someone like that in such a leadership position. It was a huge blunder on her part. If that is her opinion than good for her but she definitely has to work on expressing things more positively especially when in view of the public eye.





(And I'm not just saying that because it was a statement against gay people. I would feel the same way if it were a statement against anybody. Or any other type of negative statement.)
