Argue what you know. As a christian we are taught to forgive. This does not mean we agree with premarital sex or children out of wedlock. It means we forgive our children and continue to love them. We also teach them that actions have consequences that lead to responsibilities. This means that now there will be a new family member that must be raised, loved and cared for. Why is it that Obama supporters claim to be christians and claim Obama is a christian, but do not even understand some of the basic fundamentals of christianity.
My answer is that it is clearly againsts the Bible to be a homosexual. It is an abomination. The Bible doesn't actually go into what is wedlock, since that differs in many countries. For instance, in Israel, it is religious as opposed to civil. I have read the whole Bible and I have never read anything that speaks of it being an abomination if a daughter gets pregnant. However, I have read that homosexuality is an abomination and murder is up there in the ';rules'; as well! Oh and btw, there is no such religious thing as Gay marriage...What you are asking is why is it okay for 2 same sex people to participate in gross sex and call it legal, but call natural conception a sin and then wonder why they don't murder it.
You are taking a vocal minority and painting a false picture. If you seriously think all republicans think that, you need to rethink everything you associate with republicans. Seriously I am a republican and i know better than to pick and choose stuff from the bible. In places it tells us to have incest and other horrible things. Republicans don't necessarily use any religion to condemn gay marriage - I am a republican and I use centuries old traditional definition for my argument.


I have no problem with civil unions - I do, however, have a problem with a minority group insisting on changing the definitions of words and terms to suit their own agendas.
Because there is a difference between a sin and an abomination. God destroyed cities for their gay lifestyles, Remember the story of Lot? The angels came to the city and the gay men of the town came and wanted to know them and even after Lot offered his daughters the men were not satisfied because they were gay. So they all left town running and God destroyed the city. Remember this from Sunday school? So there is a difference between the two.
Did Palin say she was okay with her daughter's pregnancy?
