Most liberal feel the same. But most liberals will not force their beliefs on someone else. That's why there is no problem. It's funny how conservatives want to preach about individualism and individual responsibility but when it comes to social issues many want people to adapt their group think mentality and live life the way that the right wing sees as moral.
Nothing is wrong with her saying that. It's true.

Nothing. So she offended a base, petty little efem. Too bad. He had no business being on the judging committee if he was going to bring his sexual politics into play. Did he ask each and every contestant the same Q, or did he pick her out maliciously to derail her bid for the crown? He deserves to be thrown out of the contest and if I were Miss California, sued for every last pair of pink socks he owns.
Much as I support same-sex marriage and despise beauty pageants, I don't think the politics of her response should have been part of the decision.





However, perhaps her inability to understand what is actually happening in the US (we don't have the ';right to choose'; same-sex marriage), her cluelessness as to the current laws, may have affected it.
Miss CA was right to exercise her freedom of speech.





I agree with her 100%. Gays need to back off and stick to Civil Unions. These Gays only want to trash the Catholic Church anyways.





During the election Michelle Obama went to Gay Groups to pledge her husbands word that he would do what is right for the Gays. So Obama spoke from his side of his mouth and the other side from his wife's mouth.
Nothing. She told the truth as she see's it. And I don't have a problem with it. But I had nothing to do with the judging of the pageant. Geesh. Why don't you question the panel of judges? Maybe that's not why she lost. Maybe she is being used to promote someone else's agenda. Hmm? What do ya' think?

Either way she would have gotten it from someone. If she said she supported gay marriage, some other people would have a problem with it.





I think she did the right thing standing up for what she believed, instead of just saying what people wanted to hear.
Anyone old enough to be Miss California should be smart enough to know the world she lives in. Someday people in this country are going to be smart enough to leave religion and politics out of the public sector.
