Should people that plan to reproduce be the only ones granted marriage licenses?

Absolutely not.

Reproducing is one of the easiest things to do. Making a marriage work however is very hard.

And anyone who wants to commit to a permanent relationship should be granted such right.

Religion has no room in such decisions. Religion should be a sideline

at best.

50% of traditional Marriages fail. Perhaps Marriages of the same Gender may teach the rest of us something.Should people that plan to reproduce be the only ones granted marriage licenses?
No, because that is excessive government infringement in our personal lives. In fact, when it comes to baby-making, plans often change anyway.

The fact is, homosexual unions cannot, under any circumstances, reproduce. Bizarre sex change operations resulting in ';males'; getting pregnant are definitely not going to sway public policy in your direction, either.Should people that plan to reproduce be the only ones granted marriage licenses?
No. And I don't know, I think if a gay couple want to get married, they should be able to. It's not my business and they are perfectly capable of being wonderful adoptive parents, should they want children. What about ';normal'; couples who can't reproduce due to medical issues, age, or infertility? Divorced folk w/ children who remarry that aren't interested in making more kids?

The only lines I draw concerning marriage are age (no kids), species (no animals), and numbers (two consenting adults only). Otherwise, they should be allowed to marry.
According to the logic of anti-gay marriage activists: yes.
That makes no sense. Especially since gays can have kids. Just not with each other.

Why do they deny us the right to retain our own tradition?
I will answer with a question. What was Marriage origionaly created for?
