How much longer will it take for the Vermont same sex marriage outcome to happen?

The news just keeps saying its passed the legislature and supporters are trying to get five more votes in support of the bill to prevent it being vetoed.

Is there a certain time limit or what?

When will we know the outcome? When will we know if its made into law or not?How much longer will it take for the Vermont same sex marriage outcome to happen?
The picture is still murky. The legislature passed it, but not by a veto proof margin. So if Gov Douglas vetoes it they would have to find 5 more votes to overide. Anything is possible. Also, although the governor has threatened a veto, he could still change his mind. In this respect the Iowa decision is good news. It might be enough to convince Mr Douglas that he will be on the wrong side of history if he goes ahead and vetoes the bill. Another factor is Howard Dean, the popular ex-governor of Vermont, has also come out for passage as well. As a result Mr Douglas could elect to let the bill become law without his signature. That way he can claim he didn't agree with it and at the same time look good historically.

I'm not sure what the time frame is for this happening in Vermont. I believe the window for legislation in most states is 30 days. So stand by.How much longer will it take for the Vermont same sex marriage outcome to happen?
Laws differ from state to state but I believe in Vermont it could get tabled until the end of the Legislative session, I'm not sure when that is. Most likely you will know by summer what will happen.
