No actually the marriage rate will drop. If you look at other more ';progressive'; countries like the mighty Canada, you will notice that the marriage rate is very low. Marriage has no benefit in Canada so very few people get married. Most of the children born there are born out of wedlock. Canada also has very strange laws about minors and sex. A 14 year old child is allowed to dance at a strip club in Canada. So if getting rid of all morals is what you are after then get ready. Because the thing that keeps most of the population in line is morals. Without morals you get the other thing that Canada has. The highest rate of unsolved hate crimes in the world. Oh whats that? You didn't realize that most of the crimes in Canada were missing persons crimes that never got solved. Missing persons that happened to be gay. They are never classified as murders because it isn't murder unless you have a body. Watch what you wish for you just might get it.
Why mention the conservatives when it's the damn liberals that are approving of these gay marriages?
no, they will just cheat on their wives in airport men's rooms, like larry Craig. When they are caught they will borrow a page from his book and claim that they are not gay.
Vermont is so flaming Liberal, I doubt there are any conservatives there to be affected.
