I have been texting this girl that I like for about 2 weeks now, and I want to take her to ice cream and a movie. I feel that it would be awkward to just call up and ask. Go ahead and call her, she is probably waiting for your call. Just open up casually and then say ';well, i was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me. maybe ice cream and a movie?'; and see what she says. good luck =]
Just call her straight up and ask her if shed like to catch a movie sometimes or you could bring up the topic of what movies look cool figure out which one she thinks is cool and ask her if she wants to go see it with you
