Did the CA Supreme Court deal a Death Blow to gay marriage hopes in CA today?

omg...lmao...you are so mean but so funny...lol@blow....Did the CA Supreme Court deal a Death Blow to gay marriage hopes in CA today?
The Supreme Court only cares about the constitutional implications, if the majority (twice over) were to be denied, then a precedent would be left behind that the state can override the majority if ';they know what's best';.

Obviously there is another side to it.

And the issue won't go away, it will be challanged over and over.Did the CA Supreme Court deal a Death Blow to gay marriage hopes in CA today?
No. They merely upheld Prop 8. This issue will no doubt be on the ballot again and voters can vote differently. Polls show that views are already shifting and the fact that same-sex marriage rights are spreading to other states means California will likely follow suit. Look for it on the ballot again in 2010 or 2012. Let's see what all the ';majority have spoken'; crowd does when the majority votes the other way.
No. People need to realize gay marriage advocates won't stop with any single set back. I expect to see prop 8 return to the ballot next years or in 2012. I also expect a greater push back against anti gay marriage campaigns like the $20 million Mormon campaign.
Hardly. The 18,000 marriages that will remain legal will be a huge precedent and sets the stage for round two.
I hope so, marriage is between a men and a women
Yea, those homo's are finished in California
All they did was uphold what the majority voted for. nothing more.
You and your butt buddy pied h. piper are concerned I see.
